WASH Futures 2018 early bird registrations now open!

In partnership with the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Australian WASH Reference Group, the IWC is hosting the WASH Futures Conference at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre Annex from 5-9 March 2018.

The five day program includes a two day conference (5 – 6 March) and three days of training workshops (7-9 March). Participants can elect to attend the five days of activities or package their registration to suit their needs and interests.

Collaboration is critical for universal WASH

As the global agenda shifts to emphasise the universality and sustainability of WASH, the need for collaboration among WASH organisations is becoming more apparent and more urgent. Themed “WASH Futures: Collaboration for Universal WASH”, the conference will explore how governments, businesses, investors, development partners, academia and civil society work together to close the gaps in WASH service delivery. It will also seek to answer the cross-cutting challenge of how we can meet the WASH needs of women and girls, people with disabilities, impoverished urban populations, and all marginalised populations, while empowering them to further improve their lives.

Practitioners and professionals from civil society, governments, the private sector, donors, students and academic institutions will be in attendance to contribute to the broader international WASH dialogue and share knowledge with the WASH community and partners.
