The Water Movie Challenge 2015

The organisation Young Water Professionals invites creative students or young water professionals to participate in the Water Movie Challenge 2015 to show the world ideas on how to tackle the biggest sanitation challenge in local areas. The prize for the best entry is €1000.

The movie should not exceed three minutes and has to be submitted before 1 October 2015. The top 30 entries will be posted and promoted on facebook.com/youngiww. From there the Facebook community will vote for a top-ten list. Finally, a distinguished jury will pick the winner, who will receive the third IWW Movie Award at the International Water Week in Amsterdam (2 – 6 November 2015). The Water Movie Challenge is part of the Young Professionals Program of the International Water Week in Amsterdam, a high-level gathering of around 25,000 water professionals from all over the world.

If you are looking for inspiration, some interesting contributions from earlier years can be found on TheWaterChannel: Follow the journey of a single water drop, learn more about floating cities or see how the winner of 2013 explains how the city can be used as a catchment area.
