The Australasian College of Toxicology & Risk Assessment (ACTRA) is holding their 8th Annual Scientific Meeting and Workshop from 14-16 October 2015 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre including a one-day workshop on sustainable water quality and treatment.

The theme of this year’s scientific meeting is ‘Toxicology in the 21st Century: How does it apply to the water industry?’. A one-day workshop with a related theme of ‘Sustainable Water Quality and Treatment’ will be offered as part of the meeting on 14 October.

Mark Pascoe, CEO of IWC, will during the workshop present on industry and regulatory perspectives on the issues faced by the water industry. Practitioners and scientists across a wide range of fields, such as engineers, environmental managers, policy makers, regulators, urban planners and local government officers, will benefit from the workshop and are encouraged to register.
