Scholarships

A range of scholarships are awarded annually to high-calibre candidates who clearly demonstrate potential as future water leaders.

We have scholarships available to both international and domestic students.

International Candidates

Want to take the next step in your water management career?

The International WaterCentre offers three full scholarships annually to International candidates to study the Master of Integrated Water Management in Brisbane, Australia.

Additional scholarships are also available annually including the Endeavour Awards and Australia Awards for full to partial tuition fees.

Domestic Candidates

The International WaterCentre offers up to two full scholarships annually to domestic candidates to study the Master of Integrated Water Management for full-time (1.5 years) or part-time/distance (3 years) study.

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

There are up to two full scholarships available annually to Australian and New Zealand citizens and Australian permanent residents who meet the minimum eligibility requirements (below).

Each scholarship covers the program’s full tuition fees (AU$52,416) and will also cover the costs of airfares from any other capital city in Australia or New Zealand to attend the mandatory ‘intensives’ in Brisbane.

IWC Scholarships (Intl)

Three full scholarships are available annually for international candidates who meet the minimum eligibility requirements. One of these scholarships will be reserved and awarded to a female candidate.

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

IWC Masters Scholarships (International) – Full tuition and full living costs scholarship (Type A)

There are two Type A scholarships available annually, targeted at international candidates who meet the minimum eligibility requirements, hold citizenship and currently live in one of the priority countries.

Value for this scholarship is AU$92,645, which covers:

  • Full tuition fees for full-time study of the Master of Integrated Water Management
  • Living expenses remuneration
  • Return air travel to Australia
  • University student amenities fee
  • Cost of a student visa for a single student
  • Cost of Overseas Student Health Cover for a single student

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

IWC Masters Scholarships (International) – Full tuition scholarship (Type B)

One full tuition Type B scholarship is available annually, targeted at international candidates who meet the minimum eligibility requirements, hold citizenship and currently live in North America, Europe or Asia.

Value for this scholarship is AU$52,500, which covers:

  • Full tuition fees for full-time study of the Master of Integrated Water Management.
