This is the Tweed Shire Council's vision for its waterways. To achieve this vision the Council wished to take the next step in implementing its Management Plans for these waterways, which was to establish a program to monitor and report on their environmental health.
IWC worked with Tweed Shire Council to develop and implement an EHMP in three phases.
- Phase 1 was an initial scoping study, completed in 2007.
- Phase 2 was the first of two stages of implementation, investigations and reporting and focuses on the Cobaki and Terranora Broadwaters only.
