showcasing young water industry professionals undertaking innovative and leadership roles in the Australian water
- industry through case study presentations.
- highlighting the key factors and processes that enable young water professionals to work in this way (Workshops)
- seeking support from present-day water industry leaders for people entering the water industry to be inspired and empowered to take on new challenges
Workshop outputs, as a report will be sent to senior Australian water industry leaders including the President of AWA, CEO National Water Commission; Queensland Department of Environment and Resource Management senior staff
representative; and Local Government senior representatives.
As there is currently a shortage of professionals in the water industry, we anticipate that the Water Leaders of Tomorrow
Seminar will inspire young professionals to commit to the water industry and gain a better knowledge of the depth and breadth of opportunities available to them.
Open to students as well as water industry professionals 2-3 years into their careers, the Water Leaders of Tomorrow
Seminar will provide the perfect networking platform for those trying to forge their career path, broaden their networking
opportunities and expand their vision.
