Upcoming seminar for water planners

Dr Brian McIntosh, Senior Lecturer and Education Program Manager at IWC will present a seminar on postgraduate education in integrated water management with a specific focus on water planning. A must-attend event if you are in Brisbane next week!

Solving water-related problems, particularly in the Australian context, requires scientific expertise and skills for engaging with communities and the ability to integrate environmental, social and political considerations into planning practice. Learn more about the programs offered by the International WaterCentre and how you can fast-track your career in the water sector by studying the IWC Graduate Certificate in IWM with specialisation in water planning.

The seminar will be presented by Dr Brian McIntosh, Senior Lecturer and Education Program Manager from the International WaterCentre.

About the IWC Graduate Certificate in Integrated Water Management (Water Planning)

This new program is delivered part-time/distance over two semesters of study and is available only to domestic students. The next intake will be in Semester 1, 2013 and will commence with a week-long intensive session. Students enrol via Griffith University and receive a co-badged degree from IWC's four member universities: Griffith University, The University of Queensland, The University of Western Australia and Monash University. The remainder of the program is delivered off-campus (online).
