International Thiess Riverprize Winner 2007

The large-scale Danube River project has won the prestigious AU $300,000 International Thiess Riverprize - the world’s largest prize in its field. The Danube River project, initiated by the International Commission for the Protection of the Danube River (ICPDR), was awarded the prize for its collaborative approach to improve water quality in Europe’s second longest river.
