This program is customised for leaders at the project to middle management level who want to be more effective at exercising influence, driving change, and advancing more integrated forms of water management. It is supported by the Australian Water Association and the Water Services Association of Australia.

Its delivery team involves some of the water industry’s most experienced executive leaders. Several full scholarships are available. These have been sponsored by Melbourne Water, the Queensland Department of Environment and Resource Management, SA Water and the National Water Commission. Andre Taylor, IWC Leadership Specialist, said, “I was delighted we could officially launch the IWC Water Leadership Program at the Ozwater11 conference in South Australia, as SA Water was the first organisation that generously provided sponsorship for our program scholarships.

"The Ozwater conference highlighted many complex challenges we face in the water sector, such as making the transition to more integrated and sustainable forms of water management - challenges that require practitioners with exemplary leadership abilities as well as strong technical and management skills.”
