The Asia-Pacific Water Forum Regional Knowledge Hub for Healthy Rivers and Aquatic Ecosystems is the first Hub to be hosted in Australia. It has been established to connect people and organisations around the world concerned about creating healthy rivers and aquatic ecosystems by facilitating knowledge generation, knowledge sharing and capacity development.


Knowledge Hubs are the Asia Pacific Water Forum’s network of regional water knowledge hubs. Each hub is a centre of
excellence committed to improving water security in the Asia-Pacific region by promoting knowledge sharing and championing feasible solutions for its priority water topic. Together, the hubs collaborate to generate and share knowledge and develop capacity in more than a dozen water knowledge domains and share knowledge and develop capacity across numerous water knowledge domains.
