Australia Awards Scholarships for Africa - now open

Applications for the Australia Awards Scholarships in eligible African countries are currently open for those of you interested in joining the IWC Master of Integrated Water Management commencing in 2017.

Scholarships for Master-level studies in Australia are currently being offered to eligible African candidates from:


'Water and Sanitation' and 'Natural Resource Management' appear in the list of priority sectors for some countries.

At the International WaterCentre, we have welcomed many African students funded by Australia Awards in the last few years (click here to read Australia Awards Alumni profiles)

If you are eligible, we strongly encourage you to find out more information via the Australia Awards Africa website and apply by 30 November 2015.

Other countries (selected countries across Asia-Pacific)

If you are a national from an Australia Awards participating country (outside Africa), applications for scholarships will open in February next year. Details will be released on DFAT website early next year: http://aid.dfat.gov.au/australia-awards/pages/studyin.aspx. You can also check the Australia Awards page on IWC website for up-to-date information.

 


About the IWC Master of Integrated Water Management (MIWM)

The IWC Master of Integrated Water Management is designed to equip future water leaders with the knowledge and skills they need to create innovative, integrated solutions to complex water management challenges. The degree is co-taught by leading industry practitioners and lecturers from IWC's founding member universities.

Three specialisation streams are available including 'International development'; 'Urban water' or 'Water, land and people'.
