Centre for Water Sensitive Cities seeks Chief Operating Officer

The new Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) for Water Sensitive Cities is urging suitable applicants to apply for their Chief Operation Officer vacancy.

Water Sensitive Cities at Monash University will play a pivotal role in transforming Australian cities and their communities in ways to help them live in harmony with natural water environments. The centre will receive $30 million in Federal Government funding to tackle challenges in increasing population and the effects of climate change on water in our urban environments.

The role of Chief Operating Officer is responsible for coordinating and supporting the strategic business development and will play a lead role in the centre’s operations. Applicants with extensive experience in influencing outside authorities, building teams and knowledge of research funding and developing business from research are being encouraged to apply.
