Australia-Netherlands Water Challenge presents "Australia, Living with Floods"

Phase 1 call for entries now open - closing 14 September

Australia and the Netherlands share a special relationship with water. Over many years, both countries have developed extensive expertise and experience in a broad range of fields such as flood management, water conservation, marine infrastructure, water policy & planning and aquatic ecosystems.

Recognising their mutual strengths in flood and water management, Australia and the Netherlands aim to learn and benefit from each other’s experiences by combining and exchanging expertise, capacities and knowledge.

It is against this background, that a group of organisations with extensive water management expertise from industry, government and academia are joining forces to engage and inspire younger generations to become actively involved in this cooperative effort.

The focus of this first Australia-Netherlands Water Challenge is on the very critical challenge of flood management.
