Accounts Officer position open - part-time, 6 month contract
The purpose of the role is to:
- Provide strong support to the Business Manager and the Business Services Team;
- Assist with accounts processes and reporting.
Being a small team this role is very hands-on and the Accounts Officer will be asked to assist with all areas of accounts, bookkeeping and business management. We are looking for a dedicated person who has experience in daily financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and c/card reconciliations, payroll and who would be able to assist with the month-end reporting including accruals, prepayments, revenue recognition, balance sheet reconciliations as well as with statutory and financial reporting.
We are seeking a mature and motivated person who has a high level of attention to detail and quality outcomes. This position is ideal for a person coming back into the workforce and looking for flexibility.
Salary package: $34,000 - $40,000 per annum for 25 hours per week inclusive of superannuation, depending on experience. The position is fixed-term for 6 months, with the possibility of on-going employment or extension.
