IWC PROGRAM

MASTER OF INTEGRATED WATER MANAGEMENT (MIWM)

The Master of Integrated Water Management (MIWM) is one of the few programs in the world that takes a truly integrated approach to water management, bringing together social, economic, ecological, and engineering dimensions to effectively address complex sustainable development challenges that have water at their core.

Testimonial

For anyone thinking of enrolling in the MIWM, I’d like to say that it is not an engineering course. It’s made up of students from all kinds of water-related professions from all over the world. You’ll gain a lot from the course, and gain from sharing knowledge and experience with the class.
Pauline Komolong, Papua New Guinea, 2013 Cohort

How to apply

The MIWM Program has been custom-designed to offer water professionals an industry-leading, integrated learning experience. The program is built around workshops, field trips and problem-based learning activities developed to align with real-world water management challenges.

There is only one intake per year in Trimester 1 (February) and the Program commences with a week of on-campus workshops and field work. The first three days involve a field trip to North Stradbroke Island (Queensland), with the remainder of the week spent at Griffith University participating in intensive workshops and lectures.

Is there a minimum GPA to enter the program?

There is no minimum GPA required for entry into the program, however, students must have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement.
