IWC online training equips practitioners with the skills to manage sustainable WASH programming

The IWC is delivering two WASH online courses beginning in November

Delivered online from late November, the Introduction to WASH for Development and WASH and Behaviour Change online courses offer a dynamic, interactive virtual learning space for a global cohort of WASH professionals. The courses provide frameworks, toolkits and guides on how to develop and manage sustainable WASH programs and activities, including behaviour change strategies, monitoring and evaluation guides, and frameworks for implementing activities to improve sustainable and equitable access to WASH.

Introduction to WASH for Development

This eight week, interactive course will equip participants with the core principles for planning, designing and implementing activities to improve sustainable and equitable access to domestic water supply and sanitation facilities, and improve hygiene behaviour.

Designed to empower practitioners with an understanding of the fundamentals of the WASH sector, this is an entry-level course catering to those working in civil society or non-governmental organisations, government agencies, international development donor agencies and consultants.

The course runs for eight weeks starting 21 November 2016 (breaking for two weeks over Christmas).
