Five prestigious industry awards in the last two years, networks with 27 research centres from four leading Australian universities, 100 student projects delivered in collaboration with organisations from around the world – these are just a few of the highlights from The International WaterCentre’s (IWC) Achievements Report (2012 – 2013). Now available online, the Achievements Report provides an overview of IWC’s awards and recognitions, and education and training accomplishments.

The report also explores our applied research and institutional capacity development capabilities. IWC research builds applied knowledge to solve integrated water management (IWM) problems and, by using collaborative and participatory research processes, our projects also builds capacity of the local institutions we work with to conduct the research. Organisations we currently work with include UNICEF, WaterAid and Live and Learn.

IWC’s knowledge services complement our research and institutional capacity development capabilities. By synthesising and communicating integrated water management knowledge to practitioners around the world, IWC’s knowledge services enable the application of IWM solutions to global and local contexts.
