To expose our students to diversity and latest developments in integrated water management we offer our Graduate Diploma and Masters students an IWC Professional Development Grant (AU$1,000) of which $500 can be used towards professional development opportunities and $500 towards their final project. The IWC Grant can also be used to subsidise the costs of some field trips with a maximum value of $500.
Participating in the conferences, workshops and professional development courses has given our students an opportunity to network with water professionals and learn about the latest practice in integrated water management. In past years students have participated in:
- International Riversymposium
- Landcare Conference
- Water, Sanitation and Hygiene conference
- Most Significant Change Workshop
- Creating Water Sensitive Cities
IWC graduates secure great careers, all over the world.
The IWCAN emcompasses graduates from all education and training programs delivered by IWC. The network already counts over 700 members in 74 countries and forms a global community of practice that promotes and supports an integrated approach to water management.
