Professional development

The IWC recognises the importance of developing professional networks early in students' careers. As an international company, we provide networking opportunities for students where possible in the form of dinners, symposiums and conferences, industry and academic visits and other formal and informal events.

To expose our students to diversity and latest developments in integrated water management we offer our Graduate Diploma and Masters students an IWC Professional Development Grant (AU$1,000) of which $500 can be used towards professional development opportunities and $500 towards their final project. The IWC Grant can also be used to subsidise the costs of some field trips with a maximum value of $500.

Students have access to the IWC's international and national water sector contacts. These contacts are often very valuable when looking for a suitable final project or employment opportunities.

Networking
