Australian Water Association
The IWC Water Leadership Program is supported by the Australian Water Association (AWA). The AWA is Australia’s leading membership association for water professionals and organisations, with approximately 700 corporate members and 4,000 individual members.
Water Services Association of Australia
The IWC Water Leadership Program is also supported by the Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA). The WSAA is the peak body of the Australian urban water industry. Its 30 members and 28 associate members provide water and wastewater services to approximately 16 million Australians and many of Australia's largest industrial and commercial enterprises.
The International WaterCentre Board
Emeritus Professor Paul Greenfield AO, is the Independent Chair of the IWC Board and the former Chair of the Scientific Expert Panel, Healthy Waterways. Paul is also the former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Queensland. In 2006, Paul was appointed as an Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AC) for service to science and engineering, particularly through research in the areas of chemical engineering, biotechnology, wastewater and environmental management, and to the tertiary education sector. Paul’s research is recognised internationally for its capacity to attract funding and the significance of its impact. He is credited with more than 180 journal publications, 120 conference publications, and more than 20 invited international (keynote / plenary) addresses.
