Australia-Netherlands Water Challenge 2015 – Let’s Talk Resilience

The third edition of the Australia-Netherlands Water Challenge has officially been launched on campuses throughout Australia. The program is now accepting submissions, inviting both undergraduate and postgraduate students to submit their ideas to make Australia more climate resilient.
Australia-Netherlands Water Challenge 2015 - Let's Talk Resilience

The Australia-Netherlands Water Challenge is closely connected with the knowledge exchange partnership on floods and droughts between Australia and the Netherlands which has been ongoing since 2011. Supported by a group of more than 15 government organisations, universities and private companies from both countries, the Australia-Netherlands Water Challenge aims to engage young talent with this partnership and inspire them to contribute their own ideas.

The challenge offers a wealth of opportunities to participants, including personal mentoring by professionals, opportunities to present at international conferences in both Australia and the Netherlands and a 3-week traineeship in the Netherlands packed with company visits, field trips, guest lectures, project assignments, social activities and much more (all travel and accommodation paid for).

Submission deadline is 22 April 2015.
