Senior Program Officer
Charlotte coordinates the training portfolio for the IWC and brings over 10 years of experience in integrated water management with a focus on urban water management. Charlotte’s interests lie in building resilience through capacity building, integrated urban design, promoting blue and green infrastructure and disaster risk reduction approaches.
Prior to joining the IWC Charlotte was the Team Leader for Open Space Planning and managed the Norman Creek 2012-2031 initiative for Brisbane City Council; facilitating collaboration between partners to rethink the interface between urban design, open space planning and urban water management within Brisbane and deliver multiple outcomes for open spaces.
Charlotte’s experience in project delivery, policy and strategy development for urban water management includes waterway health and catchment management, flood risk management, water sensitive urban design, development planning and regulation, urban design and stakeholder engagement.
Charlotte has a Bachelor of Environmental Science in Land and Water Management and a Master of Development Practice with an emphasis on community development and development planning.
